“The limitations extend to the top leadership of the EU, including a number of European commissioners and heads of the EU military structures, as well as the vast majority of the members of the European Parliament who promoted an anti-Russian policy”, announced the Russian Foreign Ministry.

This sanctioned list includes individuals and media representatives who are “responsible of promoting illegal antiRussian sanctions and stirring up Russophobic sentiments and violating the rights of the Russian-speaking people.”
“We confirm that any hostile act by the EU or its member countries will invariably be followed by a severe response,” stated the Russian Foreign Ministry. This measure was reported in the “corresponding note verbale”, which was presented to the EU representation in Moscow.
According to Sergey Lavrov’s entity, “The EU sanctions against Russia have exceeded all borders.”
